Relations Diagram
A Relations Diagram is used to take key conclusions and determine and organize the underlying reasons or root causes for them. It answers a "Why" question; it explains why the conditions uncovered by the Affinity Diagram exist and what the relationship is between them. Use this tool when:
- You have a large number of interrelated issues that need to be better understood.
- Scarce resources require a carefully focused effort.
- You are trying to develop a deeper and broader comprehension of the system you are working within.
